Gentlemen:
Can you believe it? People claiming to be Americans, exercising their constitutional right of free assembly in front of the Federal Building yesterday afternoon, actually cut down the American flag. its like a bad dream. Have these people any idea what would have happened to them had they cut down the Granada flag in that island nation, or the Russian flag in Moscow? I have visited many of the communist block nations, not as an official tourist, but simply going there on my own; I know what it really is like over there. I know the difference between freedom over her and life over there.
Perhaps those demonstrators are ignorant of the facts. For that there is a cure. But then again, maybe they are just stupid—for that, unfortunately, there is no cure!
