Gentlemen:

This morning I walk tall as an American and as a free man!

The tragedy in Lebanon almost overshadowed the travesty in Granada, But men of good will had not forgotten. Last night, in association with other free men from the island nations of the Caribbean, we took the only action open to men who would hold their heads high in freedom.

The people of Granada will be forever grateful, Mr. President, for your resourcefulness and courage. I am proud!

Cordially yours,
R.G. Williscroft
